Recently an ARDENT member came up to me and asked if I could build a PC for him. I’ve been building PCs for years for other people but this particular one made me super excited. It’s special to me and a few you have asked me to share a bit about the computer. I won’t get too technical with the details but I’ve included some pictures as well as a video on the bottom of this page if you’d like to see more.
For the case, I went with the Thermaltake Versa C23. It features a tempered glass side panel and RGB lighting that synchronizes with the RGB fans (providing you’ve connected it to the onboard RGB controller.
This build sports an MSI Gaming 1080 Ti DUKE for the best graphics performance and the ability to run games smoothly at high quality/resolution. This model features a lighted “DUKE” logo that blends in well with the rest of the theme.
To add to the aesthetics, purple CableMod cables were installed to replace the dull black cables that came with the power supply. These cables are sleeved using high quality materials that not only looks great, but are extremely durable.
For memory, I went with 16GB of GeIL’s Super Luce RGB modules clocked at 3000MHz. These modules are absolutely gorgeous and are compatible with ASUS Aura to control via software.
The CPU is a Ryzen 5 1600 cooled by a Kraken water cooler. The Kraken sports a 240mm radiator in the front and is hands-down the best looking AIO water cooler out there.
I’ve posted a video if you’d like to see more of the PC:
